Welded gabion box is made of welded wire mesh panels assembled with spirals locking pins and stiffener. The philosophy of the Welded gabion is similar to woven gabions. Weld gabion units consist of panels of welded wire mesh, secured together to form a gabion unit, which is filled on site with gabion stone to form the appropriate structure.
Whereas double twiste hexagonal woven mesh gabions are used in demanding engineering and geotechnical applications, welded gabions are popular in architectural applications, such as residential decroation and landscape construction. Welded mesh gabion units should not be used in watercourses due to the risk of differential settlement.
Welded gabion shows ecology advantage and aesthetic appearance. Unlike other types of materials such a modular block walls the gabion stones do not discolor due to drainage. The longer a gabion or structure is in place and becomes inundated with vegetation, the more aesthetic it becomes.
Welded Gabion Box is made from Low Carbon Steel Wire.
Surface Treatment available with Zinc Coated Welded Gabion, PVC Coated Welded Gabion, Galfan Coated Welded Gabion. PVC coated gabion is not very common in welded type.

A. PREPARE RAW MATERIAL -Steel wire

D. Intall well of Hot Dipped Galvanized Welded Gabion as a fence around private residence
Step 1. Ends, diaphragms, front and back panels are placed upright on the bottom section of wire mesh.
Step 2. Secure panels by screwing spiral binders through the mesh openings in adjacent panels.
Step 3. Stiffeners shall be placed across the corners, at 300mm from the corner. Providing a diagonal bracing, and crimped over the line and cross wires on the front and side faces. None are needed in interior cells.
Step 4. Gabion box is filled with graded stone by hand or with a shovel.
Step 5. After filling, close the lid and secure with spiral binders at the diaphragms, ends, front and back.
Step 6. When stacking tiers of the welded gabion box, the lid of the lower tier may serve as the base of the upper tier. Secure with spiral binders and add pre-formed stiffeners to exterior cells before filling with graded stones.
